Booking a school disco or your child's birthday party can feel a bit daunting, there are a lot of things to think about and do. Here are some FAQ.
1) Book the hall/venue or Dj Entertainer first?
The Dj Entertainer, there are a lot more halls and venues than there are good entertainers, At Dj Kool Kids if we know the area at least that's fine. If you have a venue all the better. Check out our "HALLS FOR HIRE" pages.
2) How much is a party?
This will vary. It all depends on the following:
(a) Where you are
(b) The party package chosen
(c) How long you want us for
(d) Number of birthday children (we offer shared parties)
(e) The number of children attending.
(f) Is the venue/hall/room upstairs
3) What do I check for when booking a Dj/Entertainer?
As with everything in life you get what you pay for. You never know what your getting until its too late. Cheap rarely means best. Please check the following:
(a) Are they actually children's entertainers; not just a Friday night pub disco.
(b) Are they DBS checked.
(c) Do they have PLI and PAT Test Certificates
(d) Check Reviews, they can be a good indication of what to expect.
(e) Check that the people you book will be the people you get. Many companies are agencies too. Not Us! You book us you get us.
(f) Are they experienced in working with all different kinds and ages of children. At Dj Kool Kids we have a lot of experience working with children with special educational needs and physical disabilities ranging in age from 2-18
4) Do you bring lights?
Yes of course! This has got to be the most asked question. We bring a full disco and light show with us.
5) What type of music do you play?
We keep up-to-date with all the latest trends,chart music and movie sound tracks. We guarantee and check all of our music is child friendly and clean.
6) What do i have to do?
With a Dj Kool Kids party we help you as much as we can all you need to do is-
(a) Say hi the invitees
(b) Feed them in the middle with food supplied by you
(c) Let your birthday child blow the candles out from a cake supplied by you
(e) Say goodbye and hand out any party bags to your invitees at the end
We do that rest!!! No other party entertainer helps you more.
